Use Settings > Failed Payments to control automatic retries and what happens after the final attempt.

Automatic retries

Rekarro retries failed recurring subscription charges three times:
  • Day 3 after the original failure
  • Day 7 after the original failure
  • Day 14 after the original failure
A final warning email is sent 1 day before the last retry. Manual payments and plan-change charges are not retried.

After the last retry

Choose what happens when all retries fail:
  • Pause: Billing stops until you resume the subscription.
  • Cancel: Billing stops permanently and the customer must subscribe again.
Non-retriable failures (hard declines) skip retries and immediately follow the action you select here. For the full billing timeline, see Billing and retries.
